BRAND NEW TRACK FROM THE VANDELLES ‘GET AROUND’ TO PREMIERE ON ALARM PRESS TOMORROW

Tomorrow (2/2), ALARM Press will host the World Premiere of GET AROUND, the new single from New York Surf-Psyche outfit THE VANDELLES. The single is from the band’s forthcoming EPSUMMER FLING which will be released to coincide with their 2011 SXSW appearance.
Picture Joey Ramone in his black mop and leather clad glory, only throw a pair of iridium lens sunglasses on him and replace his signature black stovepipes with floral trunks and you’ve more or less summed up the feel of this tune. Cue in the bands distinct sinister surf riffs, pulsating tremelo and the ambient wailing of amps and we get the gritty summer soundtrack we’ve been waiting for to snap the winter chill.
Following on from the fuzzed out surf psychotropia of Del Black Aloha The Vandelles are out to make waves in 2011 and Get Around is just the initial surge.
The Vandelles will be showcasing Get Around and other new material at shows in New York, Philly and Baltimore before heading to this years SXSW and releasing Summer Fling. We would love to invite you to check out the live show, we have guest list spots available for all shows and the band will be available for interviews.
